Robert Greer


Mr. Greer brings to Entoro abroad and deep background in finance, M&A, law and investments.  Throughout his more than 30 year-professional career, he has served in the capacity of advisor, investment banker, private equity investor, attorney, and C-level officer with a wide variety of companies and transactions in a broad range of industry sectors including energy & power, real estate, industrial construction and technology.  He has deep experience in private and public debt and equity financings; buy and sell side mergers & acquisitions; corporate restructuring; as well as originating, structuring, negotiating, drafting and implementing a wide variety of complex business transactions and their associated legal documentation.

Prior to working with Entoro, Mr. Greer managed a consulting practice which provided strategic, financial and legal advisory services to a domestic and international clientele – both public and private – including: a private US-Mexican partnership in connection with its development of a proposed $350 million LNG liquefaction and marine terminal; a software and digital media venture capital firm in connection with its fundraising and investment activities; an early stage developer and marketer of products for the infant feeding and baby products sector; and a development stage provider of cloud-based computing, data and IT services.

Beginning in 2004, Mr. Greer was posted to Asia where he worked with the international consumer finance business of AIG as well as serving as an advisor to New Jersey-based PSEG in connection the utility’s sale of its 50% interest in a Hong Kong based independent power producer. Upon returning to the US in 2010, he served as General Counsel for Energy Maintenance Services, a provider of construction, repair, operations and maintenance services to major pipeline operators, utilities, oil & gas producers and other energy-related companies.

Earlier career experience included private equity investing as a Vice President in Enron North America’s Principal Investments Group; as the Chief Financial Officer of privately-owned Metro Networks; as an investment banker with the Energy & Natural Resources Group of Lehman Bros.; and as an attorney with the Houston law firm of Vinson & Elkins.  

Mr.Greer has previously served as an advisory member of the board of directors NYSE-listed Quanta Services, Inc. and iMedeon, Inc., a venture financed software company where he also served as interim CEO from March to July of 2001.
